Superb, 73 gram sculpted Sikhote Alin meterote. This lovely specimen has been selected for its unique sculptural shape. This an excellent example of a Freshly Fallen Iron meteorite, but it is also an example of an 'Oriented' meteorite. The smooth rounded face of the meteorite was the front side of the meteorite as it entered the atmosphere. The back side has multiple roll-over lips where the molten iron rolled over the back of the meteorite as it enter the Earth's atmosphere!
